Mobile Audiologist
Locations: Yorkshire | Newcastle | London (East)
Experience specifically with microsuction ear-wax removal
As the Mobile Audiologist you will provide audiology services (such as hearing assessments, ear-wax removal, hearing aid advice, ear health screening) outside of the fixed clinic environment. You’ll travel to clients in their own homes, care-homes or business sites, deliver a professional caseload, liaise with clients and their carers, maintain accurate records, and uphold Clearercare’s standards of care.
Key Responsibilities: Travel to clients’ homes, care‐homes or business premises as allocated, delivering audiology services in a mobile setting. Conduct audiological assessments: otoscopy and ear-wax removal (microsuction where applicable).
Carry, maintain and transport mobile audiology equipment safely; ensure infection-control, calibration, cleaning and storage procedures are followed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to engage sensitively with clients, families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Ability to manage your own caseload, schedule visits/travel, be organised and self-motivated in a mobile working environment.
Valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (or willingness to travel) if required by the region assigned.
Flexibility in working hours (some early arrivals, later visits, possibly weekends if service demand dictates).
OPEN ROLES
Mobile Podiatrist
Locations: Liverpool | East Midlands | Newcastle | Yorkshire
You will provide podiatric assessment, treatment and preventative care for clients in their own homes or residential settings. You will travel to clients, manage an independent caseload, liaise with carers/families, maintain records, and uphold Clearercare’s high standards of clinical and professional practice.
Key Responsibilities: Travel to clients’ homes, care-homes or other venues as allocated, delivering podiatry services in a mobile setting.
Carry out full podiatric assessments: foot health screening, risk stratification (e.g., diabetic foot risk), nail and skin care, callus/corn debridement, footwear advice, minor wound care as within competency.
Develop and implement individual care plans in consultation with clients, carers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring goals are clear, realistic and documented.
